(nearly) all month long: Autumn Shadow Box Competition October 26: Due date for all shadow box submissions

 

Autumn Shadow Box Competition

Coming up in October, we will host a shadow box competition. The guidelines are simple: use any found object up to 18” in any direction for your diorama base (think Kleenex boxes, Amazon boxes, old milk jugs, plastic cups, etc) and then create an autumn themed display composed of mostly (50 percent or more) found objects or household objects. The idea is to get creative with all the things you have at hand, instead of purchasing a lot just for this project. You can pick any topic that says “autumn” to you - but let’s keep it family friendly and always kind. There will be prizes for each category: Solo categories are - Up to 3rd grade, 4-6th grade, 7-9th grade, 10-12th grade, adult; and there’s a group category for family/friends group adventurous collaboration. You can start as soon as you’re ready, and be sure to have your submissions to Fiddler’s Glen by Sunday, October 26th. And please, share this fun project competition with everyone you know! The more, the merrier 😀
